Revatio® may be available by prescription only, and the product should not be used to treat ED. Revatio® is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a condition in which the arteries in the lungs are tightly engorged with blood. PAH is a heart-related condition. PAH can increase the risk of getting heart-related problems, such as stroke, heart failure, and heart attack. Revatio® may also increase the risk of developing Parkinson's disease.
